The process of formation and development:
Da Nang Steel Joint Stock Company, formerly known as Da Nang Steel Factory, was established in 1991 on the basis of a joint venture between Thai Nguyen Iron and Steel Company, Southern Steel Company and Da Nang Mechanical Company.
In 1998, the factory was renamed to Da Nang Steel Company and became a member unit of Vietnam Steel Corporation. Since then, the Company has continuously invested and developed production, improved labor productivity, and improved product quality.
From May 2007 the Company officially switched to operating under the joint stock company model, with the State capital currently accounting for 31.16% of the total charter capital.
Scale production:
Da Nang Steel Joint Stock Company has a total area of 12.8 hectares with a steelmaking line using electric arc furnace technology with a capacity of 300,000 tons/year. Together with the LF refining furnace, the 2-line continuous casting machine produces quality products that are highly appreciated by domestic and foreign partners.
